I designed and distributed surveys to department leads across the organization to assess the current usability and satisfaction with our team site. I also invited suggestions for improvements.
The feedback we received highlighted a need for clarification on team member roles, comprehensive information about our existing products and services, and readily available technical support resources for our internal tools and platforms. This feedback actively guided my efforts to prioritize and implement enhancements that aligned with the organization's needs and expectations.
I redesigned our team SharePoint site based on user feedback. The revamped site featured dedicated pages detailing each team's roles and responsibilities, comprehensive information about our product offerings, and details about our internal tools.
To ensure ongoing improvement, I proactively circulated follow-up feedback surveys among every department. These surveys aimed to pinpoint areas for future updates and iterations, ensuring that the site continues to evolve in alignment with the organization’s needs and preferences.
The team SharePoint site I developed became the standardized template for all team SharePoint sites within the organization. This standardization significantly enhanced the organization's knowledge management initiatives.
As a complementary effort, I expanded the initiative by developing additional subsites featuring instructional resources. These resources specifically aimed at supporting the usage of our internal tools and platforms. This extension played a pivotal role in boosting team members' adoption and proficiency with these tools.
